Gilbert Vial: COP 21 really took over Paris (...and we did too)

We were already at the Eiffel Tower so we stopped to go ice skating...

Yeah we were pretty surprised as well to see an ice rink on the Eiffel Tower

We all got up around 8/8:30, went and got breakfast in our hotel and got ready to head out, we heard about a Paddle Through Paris event so we quickly headed to the metro to head to the Eiffel Tower where it was supposed to start. We were on our way when one of realised that this could have been considered a peaceful "protest" and those were all cancelled due to the heightened security or all the traffic in Paris metro slowed us down and we missed it :( . So after looking around and not seeing the paddlers, we decided to tour around Paris, I mean it is Paris.

Our number one goal today was to pick up our accreditation passes, which we got to eventually....
