Well... it's only a week or two out from the Conference of Parties. I think it's time that we covered a quick intro of the US politics and some climate change views. I looked up some of the "more popular" candidates and found an article that covered almost everyone views and you can view that here.

Here's a list of the "Top 6" Top 6 ranking was found here.

Hillary Clinton (D)

  • Has said Climate Change is real? Yes
  • Climate Change is man-made? Yes
  • Call to Action? Yes
  • Said how they will change it? Yes

Bernie Sanders (D)

  • Has said Climate Change is real? Yes
  • Climate Change is man-made? Yes
  • Call to Action? Yes
  • Said how they will change it? Yes

Ben Carson (R)

  • Has said Climate Change is real? No
  • Climate Change is man-made? No
  • Call to Action? No
  • Said how they will change it? No

Martin O'Malley (D)

  • Has said Climate Change is real? Yes
  • Climate Change is man-made? Yes
  • Call to Action? Yes
  • Said how they will change it? Yes

Donald Trump (R)

  • Has said Climate Change is real? No

Climate change is real. Isn't this evident by the large number of toxins in water, food and air? If we believe that cancer is caused by many of these toxins - imagine what it is doing to the planet. Humans are creating these toxins by causing chemical reactions with natural substances found in the earth. If we have the ability to create the problem - then we have the ability to correct it. Knowing that younger generations are collaborating with world leaders globally to address this issue is promising!

As a new voter I found this blog very informative. It has helped me become more knowledgeable in this situation.Being an educated voter is important . It makes me feel so much more confident voting, knowing that i'm aware of each candidates solution to so many problems. And now being more informed on their plans to fight climate change.

There are multiple pieces of scientific evidence that prove that climate change is real. I think that it is a very serious topic that we have to deal with because it is putting our future generations in danger. Our water and air are continuously being polluted and I think that this is a situation that the future president needs have a plan of action to try and help reverse the effects of climate change. If people that are registered to vote saw this evidence, I believe that it would sway their decision on who to vote for.

I think it is ridiculous that there are people out there that just ignore the fact that Climate Change is a real thing. When something is scientifically proven how do you still say that it is fake. It is also sickening to know that this is happening because we as humans are careless.
